In an emergency situation, good communication systems save lives. Typically, a Dispatch Console provides a fixed central point of contact for a variety of Two Way Radio Clients.

In a commercial environment a centralized dispatch point can streamline communications between various groups of radio clients within an organization to create new processes that improve productivity. The ability to patch these groups together to enable group communications in a critical situation can help to minimize the financial impact of flooding , fires, power failures and telephone system failures. Additionally, these consoles can play a role in the remote control of access doors, fire alarms, lighting systems and other facility monitoring situations.
